Der Modellname Caddy wird für Nutzfahrzeuge verwendet, die nach dem Vorbild von PKWs produziert werden. Die dritte Generation des VW Caddy ist seit 2004 auf dem Automarkt und wird als Kastenwagen (ohne Verglasung) und 7-sitziger-Kombi (Caddy Life) angeboten. Die TDI-Diesel-Motoren mit 1.9 bzw. 2.0 Litern sind entweder 90 PS bzw. 75 PS stark. Die Benzinaggregate sind mit 1.4 Litern (75 PS) und 1.6 Litern Hubraum (102 PS) erhältlich. Sieht aus wie ne Mischung aus Sirion und Aygo, was nicht gegen das Auto spricht. Auch die Testberichte zollen unisono Anerkennung. Es hatten hoffentlich nicht alle Tester nur die VW-Brille auf. Schon interessant. Ein Premium Hersteller wie VW muss sich an einem anderen Premium Hersteller wie z.B. Mercedes Benz orientieren um ein neues Produkt auf die Straße zu bringen. Schade, dass der neue Golf nicht mehr stadt-tauglich ist: Bei der geringen Bodenfreiheit und der noch verlängerten Gesamt-Länge findet man im beruflichen Einsatz in der Regel keinen Parkplatz mehr. Ich muß mich also um einen neuen Stadt-Wagen kümmern. more
