Das neueste Facelift des Volkswagen New Beetle Cabrio überrascht mit einigen Details. Scheinwerfer, Kotflügel, Stoßfänger und Rückleuchten ähneln dem New Beetle Ragster. Neue Farben und ein neues Räderprogramm komplettieren den leicht modifizierten Look des Cabriolets. Als Motoren stehen Benziner mit 1.4 (75 PS), 1.6 (102 PS) und 2.0 (115 PS) zur Verfügung. Als Topmotor begeistert der 1.8 Liter Fünfventil-Turbomotor mit 150 PS und einem Drehmoment von 220 Newtonmetern. Das Turboaggregat sprintet in 9.3 Sekunden auf 100 km/h und erreicht eine Spitzengeschwindigkeit von 202 km/h. Zwei neue Ausstattungspakete mit den Namen Exclusive und Premium komplettieren den Fahrspaß mit dem VW New Beetle Cabrio. Vor allem das Premium-Paket sorgt mit seinen Extras für unverwechselbaren Fahrluxus: denn das Modell ist mit beheizbaren Vordersitzen, Nebelscheinwerfern, beheizbaren Scheibenwaschdüsen und einem Windschott ausgestattet. Sieht aus wie ne Mischung aus Sirion und Aygo, was nicht gegen das Auto spricht. Auch die Testberichte zollen unisono Anerkennung. Es hatten hoffentlich nicht alle Tester nur die VW-Brille auf. Bleibt abzuwarten, wie sich der L"up"o bei TÜV, Dauertest und TÜV schlägt. Da rangiert ja VW in Sachen Kleinwagen doch eher hinten... more
