Bereits die Übersetzung der Marke Infiniti – auf deutsch „Unendlichkeit“ – lässt vermuten, welche Vision der japanische Automobilhersteller bei seiner Gründung verfolgt hat. Schließlich soll die Marke nicht nur unendlich viele Autofahrer begeistern, sondern auch durch unendlich viele markante und liebenswerte Details brillieren. Ziel des von der japanischen Muttergesellschaft Nissan gegründeten Unternehmens war die Konstruktion einer vollkommen neuen Art von Fahrzeugen – Fahrzeuge für den „besonderen Fahrer“. Durch das Zusammenspiel von radikalem Design und intuitiv zu erfassender Technik möchte der Japaner Außergewöhnliches schaffen. Wichtig ist für Infiniti, dass die Autos auch außerhalb ihrer physischen Gestalt von einer Aussage und Bedeutung getragen werden.

Neben dem Roadster FX erobern das Coupé Infiniti G 37 sowie der Mittelklassewagen EX 37 die Straßen dieser Welt. Zudem überzeugen die Modelle auf europäischem Raum natürlich durch ihr Exoten-Dasein.
