Wenn man den Begriff „Ideal des amerikanischen Sportwagens hört“, kann einem eigentlich nur eine Marke in den Sinn kommen – die Corvette. Und die Zahlen sprechen für sich: bereits in der sechsten Generation läuft das schnittige Fahrzeug von General Motors inzwischen vom Band. Die in Europa vom europäischen Generalimporteur Kroymans vertriebene Marke hat einen ganz klaren Vorteil. Schon immer brilliert der Sportwagen durch sein hervorragendes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Kein Wunder, dass das seit 2005 erhältliche C6 Cabrio mit Eigenschaften wie dem für Corvette typischen Smallblock-V8, den extrem leichten und haltbaren Blattfedern sowie der umfangreichen Serienausstattung ein wahres Liebhaberstück ist.

Die Corvette C6 Cabrio – ein wahrer Geheimtipp

Einen Namen hat die Corvette in der Historie des Motorsports sicher. Allein in den letzten Jahren glänzte die US-amerikanische Marke mit Siegen in Le Mans in der GT1-Klasse in der Team- und Konstrukteursmeisterschaft. Zudem erreicht der Produzent beim 24-Stunden-Rennen von Spa-Francorchamps der FIA-GT das oberste Treppchen. Und auch in Zukunft ist auf den Rennstrecken der Welt noch so einiges von Chevrolet zu erwarten.
